Located in a small alleyway next to UTS Design and Architecture Building in Ultimo, Brainwave Cafe is a purveyor of Crafted Modern Aus-Asian Vegan Cuisine - a collaborative effort from Henry - a dedicated vegan food lover and ironically Creative Chef ‘Bacon’ ( nickname ) :) Moving forward, seasonal dishes are being introduced by young inspiring chefs to constantly push boundaries and alter traditional views of Vegan diet.
As of August 1st, 2020, Brainwave is officially 100% vegan! We are committed to aligning our compassionate values across all our offerings.
Through months of culinary experimentation and research, our menu was born under the guidance of creative Chef ‘Bacon’ in January 2019. Our motto is to serve quality fusion meals, satisfy even the fussiest meat eaters, and change the perception of Vegan food. We want to explore, experiment, and fine-tune each dish to harmonise all the flavours plant-based food has to offer.
Situated in Ultimo, an inner-city suburb of Sydney, Brainwave offers a relaxing and laid back loft-style café for all. You can watch the art of cooking as it happens in out open kitchen. Also, fun fact - Brainwave has a very international crew; we are from Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and Singapore!
